On 13 March 2026, Wabtec Corporation partnered with KAM Training Services Pvt. Ltd to host a high-energy workforce engagement and morale program at the locomotive manufacturing facility located at Diesel Locomotive Factory, Village Bajid Bhoraha & Talpuraina, Tehsil Marhowra, Saran District, Bihar, India. (Pice App) The program was conducted directly on the shop floor with engineers and technical teams responsible for building the engines and components that power India’s railway locomotives. Over the course of the day, nearly 300 engineers and shop-floor professionals participated in a uniquely designed engagement format, organized into 12 rotating groups of approximately 25 participants each, ensuring that every individual experienced the activities in an immersive, high-energy environment. Beginning at 9:15 AM and continuing until 6:00 PM, the program transformed the operational workspace into a dynamic arena of creativity, camaraderie, and collective celebration.

The engagement stations were crafted as short, high-impact experiential modules lasting 25–30 minutes, combining movement, music, storytelling, and team participation. Every activity had a vibrant dance element woven into it—from fashion show performances with playful props to Bollywood dialogue enactments, street-style performances, and music-based games that encouraged participants to let go of routine pressures and fully immerse themselves in the moment. Engineers who spend their days building the mechanical backbone of the nation’s railways found themselves grooving enthusiastically to Punjabi and Haryanvi beats, including crowd favourites like “Lagawelu Lipstick,” while laughter, applause, and spontaneous cheering echoed across the shop floor. Small tokens of appreciation, such as chocolates awarded for participation and creativity, became surprisingly powerful symbols of recognition—eliciting genuine excitement and reinforcing the spirit of achievement and camaraderie.

A special highlight of the day was an impromptu engagement session with the senior leadership and executive management team, who joined the celebrations with equal enthusiasm. The atmosphere became electric as leaders and engineers alike participated in dancing, singing, creative performances, and team-based challenges that encouraged everyone to momentarily set aside hierarchy and celebrate together as one community. The program was conceptualized and facilitated by Simin Sachdeva and Parikshit Kocher, with Simin Sachdeva also serving as the emcee, ensuring that the energy, motivation, and spirit of participation remained consistently high throughout the day. By the end of the event, the overwhelming sentiment across participants was one of respect, recognition, and emotional upliftment—a powerful reminder that when organizations invest in the well-being and morale of the people who build their products, they also strengthen the culture, pride, and human spirit that drives their success.
